'Neil Youthful Journeys'Sony Pictures Classics has acquired worldwide rights, excluding Latin America, to Jonathan Demme's concert film ''Neil Youthful Journeys.'' Deal with Shakey Pictures and Clinica Estetico was introduced Tuesday. Demme and Elliot Rabinowitz produced the film, with Declan Quinn who offered as director of photography. Executive producers are Marc Benioff and Bernard Shakey.''Journeys'' opened up lately within the Toronto Worldwide Film Festival. It's the second TIFF titled acquired through the new the new sony Pictures Classics, which recently bought domestic rights for the romantic comedy ''Hysteria,'' ''Journeys'' marks the next film between Demme and also the new the new sony Pictures Classics, following ''Jimmy Carter, Guy From Plains'' and ''Rachel Marriage.''The footage was shot in May at Toronto's Massey Hall, where Youthful carried out the ultimate two nights of his solo world tour. Film includes tunes within the 2010 album ''Le Noise,'' as well as ''Ohio'' and ''I Trust You'' and formerly unreleased tunes ''Leia'' and ''You Never Call.''Demme and Youthful formerly labored with on two other concert films -- ''Neil Youthful Heart of Gold,'' which chronicled Youthful undertaking in Nashville, and ''Neil Youthful Trunk Show,'' shot inside a Pennsylvania concert throughout Young's ''Chrome Dreams II'' tour.SPC talked about the sale with Young's longtime manager, Elliot Roberts.
